Airborne particulate, combustible dust, oil mist, and process fumes create serious compliance, safety, and equipment-wear problems across nearly every manufacturing sector. Airflow Systems has designed equipment for industrial air and mist filtration applications around the actual process: the contaminant, the airflow volume, the work envelope, and the OSHA, EPA, and NFPA 660 requirements that govern it.

Grinding, plasma cutting, and laser cutting generate metal particulate and hexavalent chromium that require source-capture systems sized to the dust loading, particle size, and combustibility classification of the specific process.
MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored arc welding generate metal oxide fumes, manganese, and hexavalent chromium that carry far stricter OSHA exposure limits than general airborne particulate. Source-capture systems positioned at or near the arc are required to keep worker exposure within compliance.
Explore Portable Dust Collectors

CNC machining, screw machines, and grinding operations produce oil mist, coolant aerosol, and machining smoke that accumulate on electronics, ceiling structures, and work surfaces. Mist collectors protect workers and equipment at the point of generation.
Benchtop grinding, deburring, and powder handling require contaminants to be pulled down and away from the operator's breathing zone before they become airborne across the work cell.
Spray finishing, solvent application, and adhesive operations require enclosed booth environments engineered to OSHA ventilation standards and NFPA 33 fire-safety requirements.
Every facility has a different contaminant profile and a different compliance picture. Contact Airflow Systems to discuss your process and receive a recommendation engineered around your specific industrial air filtration application.
